December 14, 2012 at 3:15 pm #129I was out for an early morning ride and the trails were nice and fast! Also looks like there was some prep work done on the table top in the middle area. caught me of guard the first time lol but I like it, much better!
January 14, 2013 at 12:39 pm #164Rode VK yesterday and definitely dry and a little sandy but the trails are in great condition!
March 10, 2013 at 6:51 pm #330Rode this weekend March 9-10 and the trails are bit sandy… Rain, rain come during the week, so the trails will be perfect for the weekend 🙂
Overall, a beautiful weekend with great weather 🙂 Thank you for the volunteers working the trails on Sunday 🙂
April 4, 2013 at 10:21 am #335Last weekend it was a tad dusty and it had rained for a few days before…..so now that no significant rain has fallen I can be sure itll be slipping and sliding with sand/dust everywhere….
April 22, 2013 at 8:56 pm #337This rain is great, but it better dry up by the weekend. Went this weekend 4/21: The first trail (right side) was a little muddy, big puddle at the usual spot… Overall, good condition!
Just wanted to send a big THANK YOU to the volunteers that maintain those trails. Good job 🙂 You’re hard work is GREATLY appreciated!
Rain better stop by Friday…
May 12, 2013 at 10:30 am #342I went out on 5/10, after a little rain it was damp, but not muddy. It was my first time to VK, had a great time.
May 17, 2013 at 4:48 pm #343went out again today, some of the brush needs trimmed, overall was a great day…except when the 2 ladies were making me look like a novice…
May 20, 2013 at 12:52 am #344Went out Sat and Sunday and trails were perfect… also it looks like trail maintenance trimmed a lot on “Bad to The Bone” and there was yet another berm added to “Wild Thing” overall trails were in great shape!
May 20, 2013 at 10:42 am #346what time were you there on sunday? i was there around 3-5ish with my wife, her brother and girlfriend. I forgot the skewer to my Superfly at home and we had to rotate bikes. I was on an old Schwinn Homegrown and the wife was on a Trek Fuel EX.
May 20, 2013 at 10:45 am #347I went Friday morning and Sunday afternoon. There was a big difference. Friday the trails were nice and “packed” and by the end of the weekend they were a little torn. The worst was the “ring road” on the downhill section near the freeride area.
Also the see-saw on Highway to Hell was down.
December 2, 2013 at 9:49 am #360Went this Sunday, trails were perfect. Good moisture and they were holding together tight. Wish I was going to be around longer, the dirt at the Free Ride section was perfect.
